Real Wedding - Tyler and Tyler
Tyler and Tyler married at Burntwood Court in Barnsley in September 2026.
Their stunning wedding made the most of Burntwood and had pretty much everything. From glorious cold sparks and cloud dance floors, to a desert table to die for.
Tyler began her day by getting ready at Burntwood court with her Mum and Bridesmaids. Other Tyler got ready with his groomsmen in the honeymoon suite. They opted for full day coverage which meant we photographed all the emotions from the morning. Tyler opted for sensible shows to wear on her wedding day, I think it might be the first time I have photographed a bride getting married in Crocs!
The ceremony was conducted by Barnsley registrars Lee and Mike, who I must say make a fantastic team. They made Tyler and Tyler feel at ease, they had both been incredibly nervous throughout the morning. It was really lovely to see them both smile at each other and then you could see them both relax.
Their beautiful dogs joined them for the ceremony and so of course we had to have them join them to walk down the aisle and for confetti after
We whizzed through formal photos which gave Tyler and Tyler chance to enjoy the beautiful singer and spend time with their guests. With all formal photos [or group photos] I always let my couples dictate what they would like which then gives us an indication of how long they would take. There is no right or wrong with formals and it should be completely the couples choice as to what they want.
By the exact same token I always allow my couples choice when it comes to couple photos. Tyler and Tyler didn’t want to spend a lot of time with couple pictures and instead wanting to spend time with their guests. As someone who feels incredibly self conscious and as a result hates having their photo taken, I am always aware of this when taking couple portraits and ensure that my couples feel comfortable and avoid awkward still posing.
Speeches were before the meal and upon finishing the wedding breakfast guests moved over to the Qube for the night celebrations
Once inside the Qube guests were treated to a table from of delicious treats from Dollies bakery.
Tyler and Tyler had their first dance and father daughter dance to cold sparks and a cloud dancefloor from Alicat. It really set a romantic atmosphere and the tone for the rest of the evening
The real magic however came after the dance as Tyler and Tyler wanted some photos in the evening. The dark sky and the cold sparks enabled me to work some magic and create some fantastic twilight photos
Thank you for having me
